MOSER LEADER AX - 1991
Moser Leader AX Team Chateau d'Ax - Gatorade replica road bike from 1991. The bike is best remembered with the triumphs of Italian rider Gianni Bugno. In 1991, Bugno would win the Italian national championships and World Championships using the Moser Leader frameset. Branded with the name of the great Francesco Moser, the bike was made using silver solder so that no lugs were required. A familiar feature of Moser designed bikes, the integrated seat post is 60cm from the centre of the crank. The traditional centre to centre frame measurement of the bike is 54cm.
The bicycle is in very good condition with minimal wear to the frame and components, as pictured. The Turbo saddle has some wear to the rear left where the saddle has been scuffed. The Moser Leader AX sports a Shimano Dura Ace 7400 groupset with an Ambrosio Excellence wheelset. New Michelin Dynamic tyres and white handlebar tape have been applied to make the bike race ready. Our Moser Leader AX Team Chateau d'Ax - Gatorade is fully working, ready to ride and display.
