Spare Rabobank podium jersey designed for Oscar Freire Gomez for the 2008 Tour De France. The points classification is a secondary competition at the Tour De France which started in 1953. The green jersey denotes the leader with the highest amount of points obtained from high finishes in a stage and victories in intermediate sprints. In 2008, Freire would go on to win the Tour De France points classification. During his career, Freire would achieve seventy wins while competing in seventeen Grand Tours and thirty six Classics. Oscar Freire Gomez is a three time World Road Race (1999, 2001 & 2004) and Milan-San Remo (2004, 2007 & 2010) winner while also a winner of the Tirreno-Adriatico in 2005 and Gent-Wevelgem in 2008.

 

The green jersey designed for Oscar Freire Gomez is brand new old stock and still has the original Nike tags. This podium jersey comes directly from the Rabobank team and is an unused spare for the presentation of their top sprinter, Oscar Freire Gomez. The Rabobank source and named authenticator of the jersey can be provided upon purchase.
